Box Score
Mankato, Minn. - Bethany Lutheran women’s basketball got back on the winning track beating Presentation 84-80. The Vikings improve to 7-8 overall and 3-2 in conference play on the year now.
The Vikings controlled most of the game and never trailed in the second half, however hot shooting down the stretch by the Saints combined with cold shooting from the Vikings made the game a lot closer in the end. Bethany distributed the ball well with four players scoring in double figures.
Jessica Englund (Andover, Minn./St. Francis) led the Vikings with a season high 27 points and 15 rebounds. Sophomore Kelsie Ammann (Lakeville, Minn./ Lakeville North) had 14 points off of the bench for the Vikings. Both Joelle Pipal (Mankato, Minn./ Mankato West), and Caitlin Meyer (Mankato, Minn./ Minnesota Valley Lutheran) had seven assists.
The Vikings will continue conference play next weekend when they will go on the road to play Crown and Northwestern on Friday and Saturday respectively.
