St. Paul, Minn. – The Vikings took on Loras in the second day of the Bethel Tournament. After leading the Duhawks 32-27 at the half, Loras caught fire in the second to defeat BLC 74-60.
 
Alex Weldon (Linmar, Iowa/Linmar) once again led the Vikings with 21 points going 7-9 from the field and 3-3 from behind the arc. Jamal Beavers (St. Paul, Minn./Tartan) had nine points and seven rebounds. Derek Peterson (St. Paul, Minn./Tartan) also pulled down seven boards. He fouled out with five points. Gavin Kroehler (Le Sueur, Minn./Le Sueur-Henderson) also fouled out with two points and three rebounds.
 
The Vikings shot 35.0 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from the three-point line. Loras was 1-8 in the first half behind the arc, but managed to come back shooting a 58.3 three-point percentage to take control of the game.
 
The Vikings fall to 0-3 on the season, and will travel to Pella, Iowa to take on Central Tuesday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m.
