Box Score Central Dutch Out-Shoots Men's Basketball Team

MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany men's basketball team played Central Dutch on Saturday afternoon for their second consecutive non-conference home game of the season. The sharp shooting from the Dutch help them secure a victory over the Vikings, 88-65.

Central Dutch (3-0) is a very tough Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team that came into the Sports and Fitness Center with great size down low and great perimeter shooting to defeat the Vikings on their home court.

The Vikings (0-3) had two players,
Neil Eichten and
Brandyn Frelix, reach double figures with 11 and 10 points apiece.
Nate Chadderdon collected 10 rebounds and finishing with eight points. Other Vikings who contributed to the offense was
Bradley Rose and
Nick Sanborn, each recording nine points.

For Central, Colby Taylor led the way offensively with 25 points, connecting on a couple three-pointers down the stretch to help his team stay undefeated. Nate Munn also helped the Dutch by finishing the contest with five three-pointers to end the game with 15 points. The Dutch shot 48% from the field Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings will now travel to Wis.-Stout on Tuesday, November 24
th for another non-conference game. Game time between the Vikings and Blue Devils is scheduled for 8 p.m. The next game for the Bethany JV team is Monday, November 23
rd on the road against Crown, starting at 7 p.m.
