Men's Basketball Hosts Northland

The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team (8-5 overall, 3-1 UMAC) continues its three-game homestand Saturday against Northland (4-9, 1-3) at 3p.m. The Vikings are in third place in the conference standings and the Lumberjacks are tied for sixth. The Vikings enter the weekend on a three-game winning streak.

The Series
BLC owns the all-time series lead at 23-7 and have won the last seven-straight.

Bethany Lutheran
The Vikings have four players in double digits as sophomore Cire Mayfield (St. Louis Park, Minn.) leads the team with 17.2 PPG. Senior Trenton Krueger (Eagan, Minn.) follows at 14.9, and juniors Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) and Brian Smith (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) round out the leading scorers with 13.6 and 12.8 PPG, respectively.

Krueger leads the team on the glass with his 8.8 rebounds/game. Mayfield has a team-high 88 assists and Smith leads the way with 27 steals.

Krueger is first in blocks (67), fourth in rebounds (483), eighth in field goals (366), and 10th in points (922). Jared Milinkovich is tied for fourth in blocks (47) and Mayfield is sixth in assists (226).
