RIPON, Wis. – The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team (4-6 overall) fell 84-69 to Ripon (7-3) Saturday afternoon.

The Red Hawks led 45-38 at halftime. Juniors Justin Schrupp (Danube, Minn.) and Hunter Nielsen (New Prague, Minn.) had 15 and 10 points, respectively in the frame.

Ripon opened the first four minutes of the second half on a 10-2 run to push the margin to 15 (55-40), and would continue to lead by a double digit margin for the duration of the contest.

Schrupp and senior Cire Mayfield (St. Louis Park, Minn.) both finished with 16 points. Nielsen and senior Jared Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) completed those in double figures with 10 points each.

Senior Jacob Milinkovich (New Prague, Minn.) had a team-high six rebounds.

The Vikings take to the road for the next three games and will open competition in Loras' Tournament Wednesday, Dec. 29 against host-Loras at 8 p.m.
