ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran men's tennis team dropped a match to Northwestern on Monday night 8-1 to conclude their season. With the loss the Vikings finish the season at 8-9 overall and 6-4 in the UMAC. The six conference wins is the most for the program since 2015-16. The UMAC was split into two regions this year, the North and the South, with Bethany taking third place in the North region. 

The Eagles, who will be moving on as the No. 2 seed in the UMAC North region, won the first point of the match at No. 2 doubles, but Marcos Borobia Arias and Heitor Damaso would team up for a convincing win at No. 1 doubles to even the score at 1-1. From there on out though it was all Northwestern, as the Eagles took the last seven matches for the win.
