WASECA, Minn. - Keaton Ginter one-upped his medalist honors from Tuesday on Thursday afternoon when the Vikings took on Crown in a dual as he shot a career-low and program record 68 to lead Bethany to victory and earn medalist honors. Ginter's 2-under 68 surpasses Joe Baer's round of 69 from 2006 that stood as the program's low round for nearly 20 years.
The Vikings finished with a team score of 303 while the Polars shot 330.
Ginter wasn't the only one to have a great day, as
Jakob 'Jake' Swanson and
Teien Murphy finished second and third, respectively, with scores of 76 and 79.
Eli Wetzel then tied for fourth place with a tally of 80 while
Arturo Fraile Beltran rounded out the Viking scores with an 82 to take seventh.
Bethany will now have over a week off before they'll host the BLC Invite at Crow River Golf Club next Friday.
