GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA), released their 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams on Tuesday afternoon and four Vikings earned the distinction for their performance on the court and in the classroom. Drew Sagedahl of Bethany Lutheran men's basketball and Kaylee Hunter, Aubrea Kor, and Megan Wegner of Bethany Lutheran women's basketball were the student-athletes who represented the Vikings. 

To be eligible for Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have played in at least 90 percent or started 66 percent, of the team's competition throughout the season. 

Sagedahl was also named a finalist for the Academic All-America ballot, where First, Second, and Third-Team Academic All-America will be announced on April 15th.
