ST. PETER, Minn. - Bethany women's tennis lost a pair of non-conference matches Friday and Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center. The Vikings (3-6 overall) started the weekend with a 6-1 loss to Northwestern Iowa and then were blanked 7-0 by the host Gustavus.Â
Campbell Amundson earned the lone point of the weekend for the Vikings, winning in three sets at No. 3 singles against Northwestern. After winning the first set 6-1, Amundson lost the second 7-5 before claiming the breaker 10-8.Â
Bethany is back in action next Friday for another pair of non-conference matches in Mount Vernon, Iowa.Â
