ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 men's basketball awards Wednesday and Bethany had three players earn All-Conference honors, highlighted by Hudsen Jenniges being named Rookie of the Year.
Playing in all 12 conference games, Jenniges averaged 7.1 points and 4.3 rebounds against UMAC opponents. Overall, Jenniges has played in 18 games, averaging 6.7 points and 4.4 rebounds, while shooting 51.7 percent from the field. He also has collected 16 assists, 14 steals, and six blocks.
Both Max Briggs and Jack Brockmann were named Second Team All-Conference, and Will Walter was honorable mention. Christian Benda was Bethany's representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Briggs leads the Vikings this season in scoring, averaging 17.9 points (5
th/UMAC) while shooting 45.5 percent from the field and a UMAC-leading 45.8 percent from three-point range. Briggs shoots a team-best 85.6 percent (3
rd/UMAC) from the free throw line and has collected 64 assists and 44 steals.
Brockmann, who was also named to the All-Defensive Team, has started all 27 games and leads the team in minutes at 31.9 per game. He averages 12.4 points and 7.5 rebounds (7
th/UMAC), while shooting a UMAC-best 60.7 percent from the field. Brockmann leads the team with 37 blocks and 88 assists. He's tied with Briggs with 44 steals.
Walter is second on the team in scoring, averaging 13.0 points while shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from long range. Walter also has 18 assists, 10 steals, and three blocks.
Bethany begins the NCAA tournament Friday night at Gustavus.
