After spending the past four years as Bethany's starting point guard, Patrick Garvin remains with the basketball program to begin his first season as an assistant coach.
Garvin was a 3-time team captain with the Vikings where he earned UMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition in the 2011-12 season, a season where he captained Bethany's first UMAC regular season championship team. He also was a two-time UMAC Sportsmanship Award recipient.
The Jackson, Minn. native, who coached Jackson County Central's varsity boys basketball spring team the past two springs, is currently majoring in Broad Field Social Studies.
