Biography
Derek is the son of Stevie and Sid Peterson of Oakdale, Minn. He is majoring in Business with a minor in Math and hopes to be successful doing something he loves. His athletic role model is Michael Jordan because he is the greatest. Along with Jordan, Derek would most like to meet Jesus and President Obama. What motivates him to play basketball is the love of the game and his teammates. He chose to attend Bethany because of the smaller class sizes, the spirit of the campus, and the spirit of the faculty and students.
