Sandin enters her second season on the coaching staff in 2020-21 after a successful playing career. She holds seven career records for the Vikings, was a four-time First-team All-Conference selection, and was the 2015-16 UMAC Newcomer of the Year.

Bethany won the 2018-19 UMAC tournament championship for the program's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
