Bethany Lutheran College Athletics

Julio competed in high school cross country as well as track and field. He ran in mid-distance races as well as pole vault. In college, he was a volunteer track and field coach at Mankato East High School where he learned a lot from the distance coach about different workouts for distance runners. In his sophomore year as a student at Bethany Lutheran College was when the college started a track and field program. Julio competed in indoor track for two seasons and outdoor for one season and the events he excelled in were the 800M and 1600M run.

Currently Julio works full-time at Bethany Lutheran College as an Admissions Counselor and is an assistant coach on both the cross country teams and Track and Field. He specializes in working with the Pole Vault athletes.
