Alayna Theissen enters her first season with the program, where she will primarily work with the throwers and assist with the strength training.
Theissen began her college career at Colorado State Pueblo before she transferred to Minnesota State Mankato. Prior to BLC, she coached the throwers at Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial High School and also worked with the weightlifting program.
As a high school athlete at Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial, she finished third in the discus throw and eighth in the shot put at the 2014 State Championships. She held four state records for weightlifing in two different weight classes. She won the 2015 State Championship in weightlifting.
