Jakin Anderson became the interim head coach of the Bethany Lutheran cross county and track and field programs on November 8th, 2024.
A 2023 graduate of Bethany, Anderson was an outstanding distance runner for the Vikings, earning two All-Conference honors in cross country and taking home an individual champion distinction in the 3000m at the 2023 UMAC Indoor meet.Â
Following graduation, Anderson was the athletic director at Risen Savior in Mankato during the 2023-24 school year before taking an assistant coach position with the cross country and track and field programs in the spring of 2024.Â
