Morris, Minn. – For the second game in a row the women’s soccer team tied their opponent 0-0 in double overtime. The Vikings did it first against St. Scholastica two weeks ago, and because of the rain, did not hit the field again until today. The women traveled to Morris to take on the Cougars and found themselves once again in a deadlock after 110 minutes.

Morris outshot Bethany Lutheran 17 to eight, but freshman keeper Alexa Mowery (Fairmont, Minn./Fairmont) was in goal again saving six for the Vikings while completing her second shut out in a row. The Cougars also had a 10 to three corner kick advantage.

The Vikings, now 5-1-2 overall and 1-0-2 in the UMAC, take on Presentation at noon in Aberdeen, S.D., tomorrow.
