Vikings fall to Saints 1-0

Duluth, Minn. - The Vikings traveled to St. Scholastica to take on the Saints for the second time this season. The last time the teams met the Vikings tied the number one ranked Saints 0-0 in double overtime.

This time St. Scholastica was able to come away with a 1-0 win after scoring early in the 10th minute of the game. The Vikings were outshot 17-2. Jada Holden (Minneapolis, Minn./Washburmn) was in net for BLC recording seven saves.

The Vikings are currently 9-5-2 overall and 5-3-2 in the UMAC. The team will take the field in Ashland, Wis., tomorrow to battle the LumberJills of Northland.
