Mankato, Minn. - The BLC women beat the Martin Luther Knights by a score of 2-1 Tuesday night.
 
Lexie Mowery (Fairmont, Minn. / Fairmont) had another good performance in goal, she recorded three saves on nine shots.
 
Kindra Fairburn (Michael, Minn. / Michael-Albertville) scored first for Bethany Lutheran with a header of a corner kick by Paige Taylor (Coon Rapids, Minn. / DCTC). Taylor got the assist
 
Taylor had Bethany's second goal off of an assist by Joelle Pipal (Mankato, Minn./Mankato West).
 
The only goal by MLC was a kick that hit the goal post and bounced off Mowery's knee and into her own goal.
 
Bethany women will take on St. Scholastica and Northland this Friday and Saturday.
 
The Lady Vikes record now stand at 3-3-3 in the conference and 7-5-3 overall.
