BLC falls to MN-Morris on the road

Morris, Minn. – The women’s basketball team fell to Minnesota-Morris on the road 91-72 after going into the locker room down by 15.
 
The Vikings were held to a 37.1 field goal percentage but did better from behind the arc shooting 44.4 percent from three-point range. The Cougar offense was on fire going 48.4 percent from the field and 60.0 percent from three-point rage.
 
Jade Pelzl (Rushford, Minn./UW-Eau Claire) led the squad with 20 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals. Jessica Englund (Andover, Minn./St. Francis) had 17 points and led the team in rebounds with nine boards.
 
The Vikings are 3-12 overall and 2-2 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. The team will play Presentation tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Aberdeen, S.D.
