Box Score The Vikings took care of business Saturday night, defeating Minnesota-Morris by a final score of 72-64. The Vikings never trailed as they bounce back nicely after a tough loss the night before.

The Vikings shot at a 44.6 percent rate from the field, just above the Cougars’ 42.6 percent rate. The Vikings made 15 of 19 attempts from the charity stripe, while their opponents made nine of their 15 attempts. Bethany outrebounded Minnesota-Morris 35-32 in the game.

Alex Weldon led the Vikings in scoring with 24 points and hauled in 5 rebounds. Derek Peterson scored 19 and grabbed five rebounds as well. Patrick Garvin had nine rebounds in the game and dished out four assists to lead the team in both categories.

Next up for the Vikings is a game at Martin Luther College on Tuesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
