Turnovers were lopsided in the game, with the Vikings turning the ball over 15 times to just four turnovers by the Cougars. The Vikings outrebounded the Cougars on both the offensive and defensive glass and won the overall battle of the boards 40-28.

Jade Pelzl led the team in points with 25 while hitting seven three-pointers and dished out four assists. Shelby Wiederhoeft recorded a double-double, with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Amanda Edmison came off the bench for 13 points and grabbed four rebounds. Aimie Wiechmann scored 12 bench points on 4-for-5 shooting from beyond-the-arc and dished out three assists.
