Box Score Mankato, Minn - Four Vikings players scored in double digits, but it wasn't enough for the Bethany women's basketball team as they dropped their UMAC opener to Martin Luther 69-55 Tuesday night at the Sports and Fitness Center.

Kasslin Swenson (Nicollet, Minn./Nicollet) led Bethany with 14 points while making eight of her nine free throw tries. She also led the team with 11 rebounds. Shelby Wiederhoeft (Truman, Minn./Truman) scored 11 points while Jade Pelzl (Rushford, Minn./UW-Eau Claire) and Briana Brandts (St. James, Minn./St. James) each contributed with ten.

The loss drops Bethany to 2-10 overall and 0-1 in the UMAC. They take to the road for their next two contests beginning with a Friday night tilt at North Central.
