Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - The Bethany men had a hot start to Friday night's home tilt against Central College, but the Dutch proved too much to handle as they shot over 50 percent from the floor in giving the Vikings a 96-64 setback.
It was a promising first five minutes for Bethany as they raced out to an 11-2 advantage following a
Rodney Pierce-Tyler lay-in. Central went on a run of its own catching up with Bethany to tie the game at 16 with 10:42 to and they kept on running building a 49-21 advantage at the break.
Jacob Wensmann was Bethany's top scorer with 12 points.
Jeremiah Fogarty,
Nick Sanborn, and
Rennardo Lampley each scored seven a piece.
The Vikings (0-5) are back on the court tomorrow for a 1 p.m. tip against Covenant (Ga.) at the Sports and Fitness Center.
