Women lose big as it goes into season finale

Box Score Morris, Minn. - The Cougars of Minnesota-Morris are trying to do something rare. . go undefeated in conference play. They came out Friday night determined to so and they did in a big way. They beat the Bethany Vikings 104-42 to head to 13-0 in UMAC play. Bethany drops to 5-8 in the conference and 7-17 overall.

Shots were just not falling for the Vikings as they shot only 21 percent (13-61) from the floor for the game and 13 percent from 3-point range (2-15).

No Viking scored in double figures. Kasslin Swenson and Amanda Edmison each scored seven points to lead the team.

UM-Morris shot nearly 56 percent throughout the game and were led by Kendra Wycoff who scored 33 points while draining nine 3s.

Bethany, eliminated from UMAC postseason contention, wraps up the season today with a game at Crown. Tip is set for 3 p.m.
