Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The BLC women's soccer team was looking to rebound after a frustrating loss to UW-Superior in their home opener on Tuesday and they came back with a vengeance defeating conference rival North Central 3-1 on the road in the UMAC opener for both teams.

Taylor Friehl was able to get the Vikings on the board early, knocking in a goal in the 13th minute for the 1-0 lead. The game was tight through much of the first half as both teams as neither team could score until Friehl struck again in the 57th minute for her second goal of the night extending the lead to 2-0. North Central soon answered with a goal of their own to cut the lead to one, but Friehl was able to pass the ball to sophomore midfielder
Emily Biggs who delivered the dagger in the 78th minute with a header goal to put them ahead 3-1.
Bethany (2-3, 1-0 in UMAC) stays in the twin cities to take on Northwestern Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
