Box Score RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The women's soccer team traveled across the border in hopes of bouncing back from a rough loss Thursday at Augsburg. Instead, the Vikings were shut-out for the second straight game as they dropped a 3-0 decision to UW-River Falls Saturday.
The game appeared destined to be scoreless going into halftime, but the Falcons got on the scoreboard with three and a half minutes remaining on an Alyssa Manor goal.
UW-River Falls scored quickly coming out of the locker room for the second half. Anna Kouba scored off a header from a corner kick 1:49 into the second 45 minutes to put the Falcons up 2-0.

Alexa Mowery saved ten shots while two UW-River Falls goalkeepers combined to save four Bethany shots on goal.
The Vikings are off until September 17 when they host UW-Superior for their home opener.
