Box Score NEW ULM, Minn. - One month ago, the Bethany women's soccer team bested Martin Luther 2-1 in double overtime in Mankato. On Friday, the same two teams met in New Ulm, with the Vikings coming out on top again with the same 2-1 score.
After neither team scored in the first half, Martin Luther cracked the scoreboard first with a 52nd minute goal from Hailey Johnson.
Six minutes later, Bethany would tie the game and take the lead with two goals less than a minute apart.
Bridget Hennen's goal tied the game and
Anna Rouse's goal was the game-winner as Bethany and Martin Luther are now tied for third place in the conference at 6-5.
Megan Zeller made five saves in net for BLC.
Bethany travels to Morris on Saturday to take on the Cougars.
