Fast start fades away as Vikings fall to Carleton

Box Score NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Bethany men's basketball team hit the road for the first time this season for a non-conference matchup with Carleton and the Knights came out on top 69-53.

The Vikings could not have asked for a better start though scoring the game's first eight points. Luke Roddy was in the mix in all of those points assisting on a jumper from Troy Spears and a 3 by Dalton Kleinschmidt and he even hit a 3 himself.

Carleton would go on a run and take the lead at 15-14 with 9:56 left in the first half. They build that lead to 31-23 by halftime. The Knights would extend their lead in the second half on their way to dealing Bethany a 16-point setback.

Nick Sanborn led BLC with 12 points.

Bethany (0-2) next plays Tuesday at Gustavus.
