OWATONNA, Minn. --- After competing in four fall competitions, the Bethany women's tennis team took part in its first dual of the spring season Saturday in Owatonna against Bemidji State.
The Vikings fell to the Beavers 9-0. At No. 3 singles,
Kasarah Smart dropped her match to Caley Westin 6-4, 6-1.
Marissa Teems and
Ashley Stahl each dropped their matches 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
At No. 1 doubles, Teems and
Morgan Schwartz fell to Westin and Mikela Kowatsch 8-4.
The women's team next competes Saturday, February 15 at Saint Mary's.
