Bridget Hennen goal in overtime gave the Bethany women's soccer team a 2-1 win over Martin Luther.
The game seemed destined to be decided as a draw. With two and a half minutes remaining in the second overtime, Hennen found herself free close in and knocked in a shot off a feed from
Nicole Moldstad for the game-winner.
After a scoreless first half, Moldstad was responisble for the game's first goal as she headed in a shot off a corner from
Asia Owens for a 1-0 lead in the 52nd minute.
MLC's Jenna Maurer tied the game with a header in the 79th minute.
Bethany (2-4-1, 1-1 UMAC) remains at home for a non-conference matchup Tuesday against St. Mary's at 7 p.m.
