YANKTON, S.D. - The Bethany women's tennis team traveled west Saturday to take on a non-conference in the College of St. Mary and came away with their first dual win of the fall, 5-4.

Alicia Kranz and Taylor Nordhausen were multiple winners for Bethany. They teamed to win their No. 2 doubles match over Callie Wanek and Mirtha Gutierrez 8-1. Kranz then beat Wanek at No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-2 while Nordhausen easily won her match as well at No. 4 singles over Gutierrez 6-2, 6-1.

Morgan Schwarz won her match at No. 2 singles handily, 6-1, 6-0 over Alyse Lysgaard and Andrea Donley defeated Valerie Rose at No. 5 singles 6-4, 6-2.

Bethany is back on the courts Saturday at Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa.
