Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - The Bethany women's soccer team opened up the home portion of their schedule Sunday against Wisconsin Lutheran. The Vikings scored late, but couldn't get the equalizing goal as they fell to the Warriors 2-1.

Wisconsin Lutheran scored their two goals in the first half. Bethany netminder Averi Cash kept the Vikings in the game in the second half not allowing a goal while making eight saves.

Down 2-0, Bethany got on the board in the 79th minute when Asia Owens scored her first goal of the season on a corner kick that curved into the left corner of the net.

The Vikings kept the pressure on in the minutes but were not able score again.

Bethany (1-2) remains at home for their next contest Tuesday against Wis.-River Falls at 7 p.m.
