Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - The Bethany women's basketball team didn't want to lose their third straight home game to start the conference season. They used a second half rally to put themselves in the win column for the first time in UMAC play with a 68-66 win over Crown at the Sports and Fitness Center.
The Vikings led 31-29 at the break, but Crown come out strong in the second half and scored in the first six points to take a 4-point lead. Their lead would go to six at 45-39 with 10:28 left. Bethany would go on a 10-4 to tie the game at 49 following anÂ

Angela DeBruzzi 3 gave Bethany the lead for good moments later.
The game would not be decided though until the final moments. Crown's Andrea Besa's layup cut Bethany's lead to one at 67-66 with 50 seconds remaining. Following a DeBruzzi free throw, Crown had a pair of chances to tie the game in the final seconds, but could not get the equalizer as Bethany hanged on for the win.
