Box Score PELLA, Iowa - After a two-week layoff, the Bethany men's basketball team was back on the hardcourt for the first game of a two game Iowa road trip Friday at Central College. A sluggish shooting start doomed in the Vikings as they fell to the Dutch 80-45.

Zach Brandts jumper nearly seven minutes into the contest. Central started to go on a little run and slowly built a lead. Central shot 37 percent from the floor in the first half compared to Bethany's 15 percent as they led the Vikings 32-17 at the break.
Central shot 59 percent in the second half as they built a sizable advantage.
Bradley Rose had nine points and seven rebounds for Bethany. Brandts tied Rose with nine points.
Bethany (0-10) next plays Saturday at Coe College.
