Box Score Gustavus Beats Women's Soccer

MANKATO, Minn. – In a non-conference matchup between Bethany women's soccer and Gustavus Adolphus Gusties on Wednesday night, the Gusties downed the Vikings by a score of 6-0. Bethany is now (6-6-2, 4-1-1) on the season.

The Gusties who are tied for first place in the MIAC with a record of (6-5, 4-1) scored six goals on 21 total shots taken on the night. Gustavus was incredibly efficient with its first half shots as it scored five goals on seven shots in the opening 45 minutes.

The Vikings totaled 10 shots on the night. Senior
Taylor Friehl (Albert Lea, Minn.) led the way with three shots on goal followed by sophomore
Nicole Moldstad (North Mankato, Minn./MN Valley Lutheran) and freshman
Ali Mix (Oklahoma City, Okla./Western Heights) with two each.

The Vikings played both goalkeepers during the game, Averi Cash (Ottumwa, Iowa) and Rachael Heidorn (Fergus Falls, Minn.).
