Box Score No. 15 Oles Top Men's Basketball in Season Opener
NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Bethany men's basketball team opened up the 2015-16 season with a road trip against the No. 15 St. Olaf Oles in a non-conference game Friday night at Skoglund Center.
Junior newcomer
Brandyn Frelix (Minneapolis, Minn./Robinsdale Cooper) led the way for the Vikings with 18 points, while teammates
Nick Sanborn (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South) and
Walker Froehling (Hanska, Minn./St. James) added 10 and eight, respectively.
The Vikings recorded 37 total rebounds, 15 offensive and 22 defensive on the night, while committing 20 total turnovers in the loss to the Oles in the season opener.
Next on the schedule, the men's JV team will host Ridgewater in a match at home on Tuesday, November 17
th. Tip off is scheduled for7:30pm.
Up next for the Varsity team, the Carleton Knights will come to Mankato for a 7pm showdown on Wednesday, November 18
