Box Score Men's Basketball Drops Home Opener

MANKATO, Minn. – In the season debut at home the Bethany men's basketball team welcomed the Knights from Carleton to the Sports and Fitness Center on Wednesday night in a non-conference game. Carleton defeated the Vikings by a score of 71-56.

In front of a great crowd, the Vikings battled the Knights throughout the contest showing no signs of letting up. Offensively,
Brandyn Frelix (Minneapolis, Minn./Robbinsdale-Cooper) led all scorers for Bethany with 17 points.
Neil Eichten (Wabasso, Minn.) came off the bench and added a spark to the game by connecting on a couple three-pointers to energize the home crowd. Eichten finished with 16 points while
Brady Rose (Le Sueur, Minn.) added 10.
