Women's Basketball Falls to St. Olaf 59-58

 
NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Bethany women's basketball team dropped a nail-biter against St. Olaf on Wednesday night in Skoglund Center, final score was 59-58.
 
Briana Brandts (St. James, Minn.) led all scorers on the night with 15 points to go along with seven rebounds. UMAC Player of the Week, Haley Sandin (Zimmerman, Minn./Princeton) added 14 points while Minnie Frederick-Childress (Flint, Mich./Mankato East) recorded 10 points and six steals.
 
Makenna Ash led the Oles in points and rebounds with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Bethany (1-1) went 18-56 from the floor finishing with a 32.1% field goal percentage.
 
Bethany will be back at home vs. Central on Saturday, November 21^st at 3 p.m. The women's JV team will play tomorrow night, Thursday, against Minnesota West starting at 7 p.m.
