Box Score 2 ST. PAUL - After losing a high-scoring opening game, Bethany bounced back with an extra-inning win to earn a split of their non-conference baseball doubleheader with Macalester Thursday.

Nick Caldeen belted his second collegiate home run over the left field wall to put BLC up 4-2.
Macalester rallied for two in the seventh to send the game to extra innings.
Drew Quame led off the eighth with a pinch hit double to right center.Â
Kevin Harris came on to pinch run and he scored two batters later on a single to center fromÂ
Clay Anderson.
The Scots loaded the bases in the bottom of the eighth with one out.Â
Brandyn Olsen came on to get the final two outs to preserve the win.

Nick Dewanz pitched seven solid innings allowing seven hits while striking out six. Geiger collected three hits in both games.
Bethany (14-14) returns home to start a three-game series with Crown Friday at 3 p.m.
