Box Score Northwestern defeats Bethany Women's Soccer

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Bethany women's soccer team played Northwestern Monday night in a non-conference game on the campus of Northwestern. The Vikings (2-3-1, 1-0 in UMAC) lost to the Eagles (2-2, 0-1 in UMAC) by a final score of 4-1.

Northwestern women's soccer team scored a trio of goals in the first half to take command of the game. The Vikings would answer with a lone goal as
Ali Mix (Oklahoma City, Okla./Western Heights) recorded her third goal of the season. Mix is leading the way for the Vikings this season with three goals and three assists.

The game would remain at a standstill for the majority of the second half before Jordan Skarin of Northwestern scored a goal for the Eagles to extend the lead to 4-1. The Vikings scattered five shots on goal for the night compared to Northwestern's 13.

The women's soccer team will now travel to North Central Friday night to take on the Rams in a UMAC matchup starting at 4:15 p.m.
