MANKATO, Minn. – The women's soccer team hosted the Yellowjackets from Wis.-Superior Saturday in an intense battle for the conference victory. The Vikings came away with another conference win, earning the 2-0 shutout.

Ali Mix (Oklahoma City, Okla./Western Heights) led the way for the Vikings with an exciting game.
Mix recorded seven shots, three shots on goal, and would score both goals for the Vikings, one unassisted and the other assisted by
Bridget Hennen (Apple Valley, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran).

Averi Cash (Ottumwa, Iowa) played all 90 minutes of the game, allowing no goals and recording 17 saves on the afternoon.Â
