NEW ULM, Minn. – The Bethany women's soccer team (6-6-2, 2-1-1) battled Martin Luther College (3-10, 2-3) on Tuesday afternoon at MLC. The non-conference rivalry contest resulted in a 1-0 overtime victory for the Vikings.
The Vikings and Knights played the first 90 minutes of competition unable to score a goal off the opposing goalkeeper. Going into the overtime session, Bethany attempted 22 shots (8 on goal) compared to the Knights 16 (7 on goal).

Bridget Brown (North Mankato, Minn.) buried her third goal on the season to lead the Vikings to a non-conference victory over Martin Luther.

The Vikings and Knights will meet again on Thursday night at 5 p.m. at the BLC Soccer Field. This game will be an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game.
