Women’s Soccer Triumphs over Crown

ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn.  – Coming off a hard fought loss to one of the top teams in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), the Bethel Royals, the Bethany women's soccer returned to the pitch on Wednesday night at Crown College. The Vikings defeated the Storm by a final score of 5-0.

The Vikings got the scoring started in the 24th minute of play and never looked back in the efforts over Crown. Freshman Rachel Bitter (Bemidji, Minn.) finished the non-conference contest with three goals to bring her total on the season to 13. Nicole Moldstad (North Mankato, Minn.) contributed to the offensive attack by netting two goals of her own. Moldstad now has six goals in 2016.

Ali Mix (Western Heights, Okla.) made her presence known in the 90 minutes of soccer by assisting on three of the Vikings five goals. Lydia Wildauer (Port Washington, Wis.) and Adalia Dualan (Chanhassen, Minn.) each had an assist on the night as well.

Bethany attempted 31 shots (19 on goal) compared to the Storm's two total shots (one on goal).
