ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team was in action Saturday afternoon on the road against the Crown Storm. In a defensive battle, it was the Storm coming out with the 64-57 victory over the Vikings.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Senior Brandyn Frelix (Minneapolis, Minn.) scored 18 points to lead all Bethany scorers.
- Junior Neil Eichten (Wabasso, Minn.) finished with 12 points in 26 minutes.
- Sophomore Austin Bauer (Caledonia, Minn.) added seven points to the offensive efforts
- The Vikings finished the 40 minute contest shooting 34.5% (20-58) from the field.
- Bethany was out-rebounded 46 to 34.
The Vikings are now 3-5 on the season and 1-2 in conference action.
UP NEXT:
Next weekend Bethany will play UW-Superior and St. Scholastica in UMAC play. Both games will be played in the Sports and Fitness Center. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday night against the Yellowjackets.
