Box Score Men's Basketball Falls in Game of the Week
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – In the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Game of the Week, the Bethany men's basketball team traveled to North Central on Friday. The Rams (7-5) enter the weekend sitting in fourth place in the UMAC standings, while the Vikings (6-6) sit in sixth, just one game behind NCU. With only two regular season weekends left, this is an important game for both teams as they look to secure a spot in the UMAC post-season tournament.
The Rams defeated the Vikings 104-75 on Friday night in the Clark-Danielson Gymnasium.
Offensively for the Vikings,
Brandyn Frelix led the way with 22 points and seven rebounds on the night. Freshman
Blake Lindstrom played 22 minutes for the Vikings and recorded 14 points and six rebounds while
Zach Brandts added nine points.
Bethany finished the UMAC contest shooting 39.2% (29-74) from the field and 33.3% (6-18) from three point land.
North Central saw all five of their starters reach double figures in points with Travis Voigt paving the way with 24 points to lead the Rams to a victory over Bethany.
