Macalester Defeats Bethany Women's Tennis

 
OWATONNA, Minn. – On Saturday afternoon, the Bethany women's tennis team traveled to the Owatonna Tennis Club for a non-conference match against Macalester. The Scots defeated the Vikings 7-2.

In singles competition, Alicia Kranz picked up the lone win for the Vikings at the No. 2 singles position. The sophomore earned a 7-6, 6-1 match victory. In doubles competition, Kranz and teammate Taylor Nordhausen paired up for a match win for Bethany at the No. 1 doubles spot.
 
The Vikings (1-8) will begin Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play on March 18^th against North Central. The match will be played at the Lakeville Lifetime starting at 5 p.m.
