SUPERIOR, Wis.  – The Vikings men's soccer team played UW-Superior on Saturday afternoon in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action. The Vikings entered the contest looking for their first victory of the 2016 season.

The Vikings were defeated by the Yellowjackets by a score of a 6-0.
Meles Abraha (St. Paul, Minn.) and
Samuel Duran (Marshall, Minn.) were the two Viking players who recorded a shot on goal.
Matt Bitter (Bemidji, Minn.) notched 13 saves in goal for the Vikings.

The men's soccer team will next play on Tuesday, September 27
th against Minnesota-Morris in Morris Minnesota. Game time is set for 4:15 p.m.
