MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran men's basketball team got back to their winning ways on Saturday afternoon when they defeated the North Central University Rams 83-67 to improve to 5-3 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference action. Overall, Matt Fletcher and his 2016-17 squad sit at 9-7.

HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE VIKINGS:
- Brandyn Frelix (Minneapolis, Minn.) capped off his impressive weekend with yet another double-double. The senior contributed with 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Vikings.
- Junior Neil Eichten (Wabasso, Minn.) added 11 points and four assists at the guard position.
- Sophomore Blake Lindstrom (Hanley Falls, Minn.) drained two three-pointers to total 10 points in 18 minutes of action.
- Sophomore's Jarred Merchant (Kimball, Minn.) and Austin Bauer (Caledonia, Minn.) had nine and eight points apiece.
- The Vikings out-rebounded North Central 48-30.
- BLC finished at 52.5% (32-61) from the field and 33.3% (7-21) from the outside.
- The bench play was key in the efforts over NCU, scoring 27 points.

On Saturday, January 21
