MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany Lutheran women's tennis team played Martin Luther College on Thursday afternoon for the second time this season in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) match play. The Knights (5-6, 5-2) defeated the Vikings (3-14, 3-4) 6-3.
Sophomore
Megan Braatz was successful at the No. 5 position in the Vikings singles lineup, winning her match in three sets. In doubles play,
Denae Walton and
Sabrina Batalden teamed up at the No. 2 spot to secure the 8-4 victory while
Justine Bennett and
Megan Braatz also won at the No. 3 doubles spot.

The Vikings will next play St. Scholastica on Saturday at the BLC Tennis Courts. First serve is at 2 p.m.
